MScPT, Physical Therapist
Since receiving her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2006 and becoming co-owner of Pleasantview Physiotherapy Clinic, Brianna has continued expanding her knowledge base by completing a variety of postgraduate-level courses. This training has included topics ranging from manual therapy and functional dry needling to acupuncture.
In 2007, Brianna completed comprehensive vestibular-rehabilitation training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. As such, she has a special interest in treating individuals with vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, and other complex issues involving inner ear disorders.
She is also passionate about working with those who suffer with chronic headaches/migraines, spinal disorders, and athletic injuries. In addition to her coursework, she is examiner with the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators where she can play an active role in examining the competency of entry-level physiotherapists.
In her life outside the clinic, Brianna enjoys various outdoor activities: cross country skiing, hiking and jogging. She is a travel enthusiast with recent trips to Japan and Europe. Besides the outdoors and travel, Brianna also actively participates in serving both on a local and international level with her church.
